My name is Robin and I am originally from London in the UK. I studied early childhood education at university and after graduating and receiving my teaching license, worked at a primary school as a reception class teacher for seven years. I then came to Japan to work in international education.

I have now lived in Japan for eighteen years and have worked as an early years educator in four international schools in Tokyo, including an IB school.

I believe each child is unique and each school is unique, so there is always something new to learn. I value play, creativity, and collaboration, and do my best to facilitate and support enquiry based learning based on real experiences.

I am passionate about teaching, value teamwork with my colleagues, and do my best to build positive and supportive relationships with all the children in my care. I strive to foster good communication with all the families and believe that a positive and collaborative approach between home and school is in the best interest of the child.
