Dear Children and Parents,

My name is Lisa, and I am originally from Germany. I obtained my teaching license there and have had the pleasure of working with children ranging from 6 months to 12 years of age. After moving to Japan, I have been fortunate to work at both an international school kindergarten and the German school. I am now thrilled to be joining the Summerhill team!

What I truly love about working with children is the opportunity each day brings for joy, discovery, and meaningful connection. Watching the learning process unfold through a child’s eyes—their curiosity, excitement, and sense of wonder—is a deeply fulfilling experience. It not only supports their growth, but also continually enriches my own journey as an educator. Helping children learn and grow is a privilege I hold close to my heart, and I look forward to sharing that journey with you.
