Hello everyone! I’m Brett and I’m from the U.K. I studied a combined degree in Spanish and French and have had the privilege of working within education across Spain, France, and Japan.

I’ve lived in Japan since 2018 and have taught in high schools, special needs schools, universities and international schools. Before starting at Summerhill I was the Curriculum Coordinator at a start-up English school in Tokyo.

I have experience in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, EYFS, IB PYP, and Finnish Early Childhood Education. I’m passionate about guiding children to think critically, and be inquisitive every day.

I’m looking forward to connecting with our parents and collaborating together.
